  • Management and ownership of multiple categories, sub categories, brand and product lines.
  • Strategic multi-year perpetual growth planning including category roadmaps and category oversight ensuring the right product at the right price delivering the right benefits to the customer, end user and business.
  • Key decision maker on products and product line features, benefits, target costs and pricing.
  • Developer and overseer of successful go-to-market strategies and plans
  • Champion of brand adherence, growth and expansion within his/her categories
  • Business line manager assuring optimal growth and health of category through top line sales and margin expansion
  • Positive attitude leader with the ability to present extremely well internally and with customers. Must portray confidence and tact in one on one settings and in front of groups
  • Proven ability to penetrate and maintain a marketplace footprint while implementing effective push & pull strategies
  • Omni channel savviness including Retail, Specialty OE, OEM, and all digital channels
  • Product line management including launch pricing, promotions, marketing communications and field communication/presentations.
  • Champion owner of marketing and merchandising including shop-ability, store presence, brochures, catalogues, digital presence and show support.
  • Works extremely well with various departments including Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Forecasting, Finance, Customer Service, Quality, and Legal
  • Creation of and assuring adherence to development and launch schedules and initial sellable inventory
  • Proactively drives new levels of product innovation and marketplace leadershipQUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred, and 8-10 years of relevant experience
  • Proven ability to lead and successful track record of brand / product line leadership and growth
  • Coordinates external resources when needed to produce best in class products and tactics
  • Ability to lead multiple categories on growth plans and effectively work internally across all departments (primarily sales and purchasing) to ensure successful products are developed and introduced into the marketplace on time
  • Must actively engage the business with strong communication skills, team building, and the garnering of cross department support leading to success of the (sub)categories and product lines
  • Proficient presenter with a strong working knowledge of visual media tools, PowerPoint and Excel
