Job Description

SUMMARY

The Corporate Communications Specialist will report to the Director of Corporate Communications and Investor Relations and is responsible for moderating communications throughout the global organization, primarily through the Company’s internal digital communication vehicles. This position will also have responsibility for external communication vehicles such as the Company’s social media platforms and its public-facing websites. The Specialist will work to ensure that messages are consistent with company standards, maintaining and promoting a positive image on behalf of the organization. Additionally, this position will work on investor relations communication initiatives and assist with investor relations activities as directed.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Create company literature and other forms of communications for internal, external and investor audiences
  • Work across the global organization to create and discover content that is relevant and meaningful for the Company’s employees, customers and end users
  • Provide social media, blog and PR content recommendations based on research efforts
  • Write, edit, proofread and revise communications including press releases, bios, investor communications materials and other content
  • Support the Corporate Communications and Investor relations team on multiple projects involving a range of platforms, both internal & external, and participate in team strategy meetings
  • Review and evaluate web analytics reports for the corporate intranet and external sites; use to impact/improve content and results
  • Work with manager to determine budget and manage expenses
  • Promote company through investor relations and public relations initiatives
  • Research media coverage and industry trends
  • Support investor outreach, manage investor database and assist with the quarterly earnings process including investor calls and other investor-related events

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years of related experience
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple goals and projects under tight deadlines
  • Preferred: Some experience supporting corporate communications, marketing or investor relations
  • Strong writing, editing, organizational and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with content management systems and blogging tools a plus
  • High degree of personal integrity and ability to function in a high trust environment mandatory
  • Experience with web analytics and working knowledge of basic HTML a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills; team oriented, but can function independently and demonstrates the ability to take initiative#DNP
