Job Description

  • Administration of our ERP System, CMS (AS400, IBM iSeries, Power7, experience a plus)
  • Management of the ERP system including manufacturing modules
  • Develop and maintain documentation for the ERP system
  • Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of the existing ERP system and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging this system
  • Resolve problems, provide technical support, research and answer questions related to the ERP system
  • Ability to develop custom programs integrated with the core ERP code via RPGLE, CLLE, and Query400 also a plus
  • Work closely with Sales, Production Control and Materials Departments, for set-up and maintenance of all item/part information and testing of ERP system changes or upgrades with users and technical staff
  • Analyze processes within the IBM environment and make recommendations as required, ensuring data integrity for both data input and reporting capabilities
  • Train end users to operate new and modified programs within the ERP system
  • Maintains and coordinates the organization’s disaster recovery plan pertaining to the ERP system
  • Installed and supported all RF Scanners and Barcode printers
  • Other duties as assigned  


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or similar field.
  • Three to five years in administration of ERP systems (EPICOR/CMS experience a plus)
  • Experience/Exposure with ERP implementation or migrations a plus
  • Proficient in Windows 7 and 10 OS and Microsoft Office 2013 & 2016
  • General knowledge and troubleshooting of EDI transactions
  • Monitors ERP system applications and takes corrective action to prevent or minimize system down time.
  • Intermediate knowledge of telecommunications, WANs, LANs, and TCP/IP

  • Ability to travel to remote sites as needed (20 -30% travel)
